Start with your draft or import a page.
Draft your page title and description, compare desktop and mobile layouts, or import the current metadata from one public URL.
This is an approximate layout. No draft fields are sent to the server. Only the optional URL import makes a request.
Checking your page
This is an approximate text preview. Google may use different titles or descriptions and truncate them differently for each query, device and layout.
What this tool helps you review
Draft. Preview. Refine.
Write and compare.
Edit your site name, display URL, page title and description. The preview updates as you type, without sending your draft to the server.
Review desktop and mobile.
Switch between approximate layouts to consider readability. Character counts describe your text; they are not Google display limits.
Start with your page.
Import the title and meta description from one public page, then refine the wording. Copy the draft into your own page’s SEO fields.
Use the result in context
An editing aid for your page.
Write an accurate title and description for the page you actually offer. Review both layouts, then copy your draft into your page’s SEO settings.
Your draft stays in this browser and resets when you reload. The tool does not automatically change your website.
Before you begin
Google Snippet Preview questions.
Will Google display exactly this preview?
No. Google may generate different titles or descriptions and vary them by query. Snippets are truncated to fit the device and layout. This tool provides a wording preview, not a guaranteed search-result screenshot.
What is the correct description length?
There is no fixed Google meta-description character limit. Focus on a clear, accurate summary of the page. Use the live counts as editing information, not a pass/fail rule.
Does copying or importing change my website?
No. Copy Draft copies text for you to use in your page editor or SEO plugin. Importing reads public page metadata and does not save changes to the source website.
What happens to the information I enter?
Draft fields remain in your browser. Import sends only the public page URL. The plugin does not save reports or scanned HTML. Reloading resets the local draft or review. Ordinary hosting access logs may still be retained.
