Check your links
  • No email required
  • Free to use
  • One page at a time

01 / What you get

A useful list.
A place to start.

Paste a public page URL. We read its HTML and check up to 75 unique link destinations within the scan time limit.

01 / FIND

Missing destinations

See links returning 404 or 410, alongside their link text, occurrence count and page area.

02 / TRACE

Redirected links

Review the redirect path and final destination. Where practical, link directly to the page you want visitors to reach.

03 / REVIEW

Unverified links

Access blocks, timeouts and scan limits get clear labels. They are prompts to investigate, rather than proof a link is broken.

02 / Understand the result

Different signals.
Different fixes.

  • BROKEN

The destination reports a missing page. Review the URL or replace the link.

  • HTTP ERROR

A different error was returned, such as a server failure. It may be temporary.

  • REDIRECTED / WORKING

The destination returned a successful response. A redirect may offer an opportunity to use a more direct URL.

  • UNVERIFIED / NOT CHECKED

Access restrictions or scan limits prevented confirmation. Open the destination yourself before making a change.

03 / Common questions

Before you check.

Is this free?

Yes. No email or external API key is required. Each direct client IP can make up to five checks per hour.

Does it check the whole website?

It checks links found in the HTML of one submitted page. Up to 75 unique destinations are considered, and slow responses can leave a partial report.

What does unverified mean?

The destination could not be confirmed safely within the limits. Access restrictions, rate limits and timeouts are common reasons. Open it in your browser to review it.

Why is a working link marked redirected?

The original URL sends visitors to another destination. That can be intentional. The report shows the path so you can decide whether to link directly.

Can I check a private or password-protected page?

The tool accepts public HTTP or HTTPS pages. Local, private and reserved network destinations are blocked. Login credentials are never sent to a scanned page.

Does it save my page or results?

The plugin does not store scanned HTML or permanent reports. Short-lived abuse controls are used, and your hosting provider may keep its normal request logs.
